CRF Partner Events

The Cystinosis Research Foundation family is working in a variety of amazing ways to support cystinosis research.  Some families and friends run for a cure while others sell cookbooks, hold bake sales, golf tournaments or organize ski-a-thons.  The events take place in rural communities and in large metropolitan centers.  Some involve small numbers of people while others involve hundreds and maybe even thousands.

It all just proves that there are many ways to raise money for a wish - to have my disease go away forever - that has touched so many throughout the world.  Plan on attending a cystinosis fundraiser in your community and join in the quest for the cure!

March 3, 2012 - Gray, Georgia - Help Camden Find A Cure at the W. E. Knox Civic Center, doors open at 6:00pm, tickets are $10.00 each. The event will feature one of the hottest country gospel groups around, The Akins. The evening of fun and entertainment will also include a unique silent auction. March 22, 2012 - Sacramento, California - The Annual Broker of the Year Awards at the Hyatt Regency, 5:00pm, is hosted by the Association of Commercial Real Estate and will benefit the Jenna and Patrick Foundation of Hope.  Last year, the event raised an incredible $260,000 for cystinosis research!  For more information visit http://www.acre.org/boya.htm

March 23 - 24, 2012 Dollar Mountain, Sun Valley, Idaho and/or March 30 - 31, 2012 - Schweitzer Mountain, Sandpoint, Idaho - Do you love skiing? Here's your opportunity to ski around the clock at the 24 Hours for Hank ski events.  The format is team relay for skiers, telemark skiers and snowboarders. Teams ski for prizes, bragging rights and most importantly in honor of Hank Sturgis and fundraising for cystinosis research.  Visit Dollar Mountain Sun Valley or Schweitzer Mountain Sandpoint to learn more and join in the fun.
